The grand finale to my birthday celebration was in India :) Where nanu, nani, dadu, dadi, maasi’s, bhai papa’s, tai, tau and my favorites “My Bhaiya’s” had a party for my birthday at nani house. They cut a lovely cake (made by my Avantika maasi) which had my face on it :).
So here’s how we spent the 24th. I began the day with mommy and papa to donate at goodwill. We then went to a nursing/rehab for the elderly where I made lots of friends who were very happy to see me and talk to me. My mommy tells me that I will be seeing them more often. In the evening we went to the temple where I said hi to god. Once we came back home – mommy and papa gave me a giant birthday cupcake to eat (aka make a BIG mess). It was FUN ;). I loved my birthday.
I had a blast on my first birthday party. After much search and lots of venue visits my mommy and daddy (with me ofcourse), found the perfect place – Giggles n Hugs – my favorite :). We had a “Hello Kitty” theme party with a real Hello Kitty there :). Birdie sang songs and my pals and I tried to dance to the tunes. We played alot – the best part was my hello kitty cake and lots of balloons all over the party. It was so much fun but I really missed my family (especially my bhaiyas) in India. I’m so excited I took my first few steps all by myself today – just one day before my birthday. Mommy and daddy are super thrilled as well :) Yipeee.
My 1st birthday is around the corner – can’t wait for the party on the 21st :) My mommy tells me that I’ll meet “Hello Kitty” there!
